Dye-decolourising peroxidase from Pseudomonas putida
PpDyP gene (864bp) from Pseudomonas putida is a relatively novel gene, but which appears to be able to oxidise a wide variety of substrates at high efficiency, like that of azo dyes, anthraquinones, phenolic compounds, manganese, or veratryl alcohol.
